Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026 · Turkish (KVKK) version follows the initial release
What we collect
- Account data — email address, username, display name, avatar.
- Messages — direct messages you send. A conversation belongs to everyone in it, so messages remain readable for the people you sent them to even after you leave; they are attributed to “Deleted user”.
- Security logs — IP address and user agent, kept for 90 days.
- Meet metadata — room owner, duration, participant count. Kept 1 year, then anonymized.
What we never collect
- No meeting recordings. Voice and video in Meet rooms is transmitted live only — it is never written to disk, by us or by our media providers, in our configuration.
- No tracking pixels, no third-party ad networks, no sale of personal data.
Encryption
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS; WebRTC media via DTLS-SRTP).
- Data at rest is protected with disk-level encryption and strict access isolation. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted so we can act on abuse reports — this is a deliberate, disclosed choice.
Your rights (KVKK/GDPR)
- Download everything we hold about you, or close your account, from account settings.
- Deleting deactivates the account immediately and is reversible for 7 days. After that your profile, sign-in methods and sessions are erased, messages you sent are detached from your identity, and backups rotate out within 30 days.
- Contact: [email protected]
Cookies
- One strictly-necessary session cookie (HttpOnly). No marketing cookies.
Data location
- Primary servers are located in Türkiye. When the Cloudflare media provider is active for Meet, voice/video transits Cloudflare's global edge network — still without recording.
